We are running a canoeing session on Friday 19th June at the Andy Miles Watersports Centre at the West Mid Showground.
Please arrive for 6.45, we are on the water at 7.00 , and the session finishes 9.00.
These are the details from the club;
Appropriate clothing for weather conditions: (You will get wet)
Wetsuit (if available) please be aware a wetsuit in cold conditions is very cold when not in water
Nylon/thermal t-shirt, Fleece Jumper, Cagoule / Shell. (We can provide this if needed)
Tracksuit Bottoms / Leggings. (Not Cotton, Jeans are COTTON) Shorts if warm weather
Warm hat if cold, Peaked Cap if Hot
Sun cream if the weather is very hot as risk of sun burn
Footwear: Wet boots, Trainers, Pumps. Jellies (if not slip on)
Do Not wear Wellies/Crocs/Flip Flops
Please be aware if you have no footwear for going in the water then you will not be allowed to take part in the activity. (Sharp objects on river bed)
Showground address: Gravel Hill Ln, Shrewsbury SY1 2PF Enter through Gate 4 and keep to right hand road. Please make sure all drivers are aware to stay under 10 mph.
