Sunflowers

 

Sorry, I forgot to post about looking after your sunflowers.

Firstly, give each one a name the place the pots on a saucer on a light windowsill.

First watering is about 5 tablespoons of water, then check every couple of days to see if the top soil is dry.  If so, give them 2 or 3 tablespoons of water.  Your seedlings should pop up in maybe 2 or 3 weeks.  Let them grow until the roots come out of the bottom of the pot, watering more regularly.

When the roots appear out of the bottom of the pot, it's time to pop them in the garden.  Remove from their pots and try to plant against a wall out of the wind so they don't snap off when taller.
