The prog has gone pear shaped...

Well, as happens sometimes the prog has gone all runny.

Due to circumstances beyond our control we can't do the overnight shelterbox camp (PGL's risk assessment doesn't cover it) and no one is getting back to me about caving, canoeing or any other activity ending in ing.

So, in true Scouting fashion we will soldier on with a new prog.

This Friday let's make some water powered rockets;

Please bring a 1.5 or 2 liter plastic pop bottle and if anyone can bring a car tyre foot pump that would help to speed things up when launching.   At the hut Friday 27th February 7.30 till 9.00.

Friday 6th March;  Personal Challenge - present evidence of completing YOUR Personal Challenge and Phils to you (reciting the Scout Law, remember?).  Collection of your change jars for Cancer Research. Let's help our feathered friends and build some bird boxes that you can put in your garden ready for spring.

Friday 13th March;  A night hike over The Cliffe and Nesscliffe Hill - including some challenges.

Friday 20th March;  Not sure if we will have a meeting, I am away in my motorhome, Bunty (yes even Scout Leaders have to have a holiday).  We will try to sort out a meeting run by one of our other Leaders.

Friday 27th March;  Last meeting of term.  Let's have a bbq and games.
