Sunday 22nd February we will be at Bickley Coppice woods near Bicton, a Scout and Guide campsite (note - not our old Bentley Marsh Coppice site). We start at 10.00 AM and departure is 4.00 PM.
Please arrive between 9.30 and 9.50. We will hold everyone on site till 9.50 due to the lack of passing places, then release to return down the track. If you try to arrive after 9.50 then you will meet everyone coming back! For collection please arrive between 3.45 and 4.00.
The track is driveable but please take it slow, car share if possible and don't attempt it in a Ferrari. SUV's no problem at all going slowly.
Arriving at Bicton village off the old A5 you will see the church in front of you. Bear to the left of the church and follow the Scouts signs. It is about a mile.

Please wear old clothes and boots (for foot protection in the woods), NO UNIFORM, and bring;
Waterproof coat and trousers
Jumper
Warm hat
Knife and fork
Water bottle
Personal first aid kit
Bug spray
Leather gloves for fire making
Personal medication, if any – in a named bag. Please let a Leader know you have medication with you
Permission form
Bushcraft knives will be provided. DO NOT bring your own knife.
Please put your name on all kit – Sharpies are good.
Tech stuff isn’t built to survive in the woods! LEAVE IT AT HOME. We have no insurance to cover it and Leaders won’t be responsible for its safety.
