PGL Etiquette

 

Just a gentle reminder about our landlord's (PGL) rules;

Please - 10 mph everywhere including on the drive up to the barrier.  Very practical really as it's pitch black at the moment and who knows when a preoccupied group of kids will lurch out in front of you.

Please Please Please!!! Never drive off the track onto the grass - PGL hates this and Phil gets the phone call to tell him how the Scout parents have messed up their grass again.

DO NOT TAILGATE through the barrier.  Please wait till the person on the barrier says you can go through.  We had our barrier passes withdrawn a few years ago for this massive sin, and the barrier will squash your roof if it comes down on your car.

The barrier will me manned 15 minutes before the meeting starts till 5 minutes after.  If you arrive before or after that we can't guarantee entry via PGL's intercom as they are a bit hit and miss at answering.  

Sorry to have a whinge but we, as a Scout Group, are in a very privileged position - PGL charge us the princely sum of £10 a year rent for our hut and pay for electricity, rates etc so your co-operation would really be appreciated.
