Our poor wildlife is really taking a kicking nowadays - habitats are disappearing fast, pesticides are still being used that kill indiscriminately and let's not forget climate change (as if we could).
Lets help the small critters who need to overwinter or need somewhere to put their eggs through the cold time.
We will each make a bug hotel this Friday so as it goes colder the lacewings can lodge, bees can berth and earwigs can, well, do ugly earwig things.
Friday 7.30 till 9.00 at the hut - FULL UNIFORM please - do not dress as Bob the Builder (you know who you are!!!).
Don't forget to collect your conkers for the following Friday as well.
