Survival Skills Friday 12th May

 

You all seemed to enjoy being in the woods the other Friday so let's do it again!

EARLY START - 7.00 TILL 9.00

This Friday we will learn or practice some bushcraft skills.  We will be using the Troops bushcraft knives - if you would like to bring your own please ensure  it is either a sheath knife or is locking ; NO Swiss Army knives, multitools and similar please.  KNIVES TO BE HANDED TO A LEADER ON ARRIVAL.

Please wear boots or wellies, and old clothes to get mucky rather than uniform.  Also waterproofs as the forecast is a bit patchy.  Please also bring a mug.

Directions to Bentleys Marsh Coppice; Follow the road  to Wykey from Ruyton XI Towns, past Packwood Haugh school, through Wykey and after a kilometre take the first turn right. Continue down this straight lane and Bentleys Marsh Coppice is on the right, look out for the cars. There is a small pull in to drop-off.
