Almost all Scout activity centres have something called a Service Crew who look after the centres buildings, campsite and so on.
So, I think our woods could do with a little love - we will all become Service Crew for a short while this Friday and then more than likely end up playing games and building a spiders web (for those of you who don't know, it's some Scouts favourite place to sleep during a wet bushcraft camp).
7.30 TILL 9.00 AT BENTLEYS MARSH COPPICE.
Please wear boots or wellies, and old clothes to get mucky rather than uniform. Also waterproofs as the forecast is a bit patchy. Please also bring a drink.
Directions to Bentleys Marsh Coppice; Follow the road to Wykey from Ruyton XI Towns, past Packwood Haugh school, through Wykey and after a kilometre take the first turn right. Continue down this straight lane and Bentleys Marsh Coppice is on the right, look out for the cars. There is a small pull in to drop-off.
