Six Summits is an annual expedition in the Shropshire Hills.
Scout groups from across the UK travel to the Shropshire Hills to take part (we're just lucky that we are close).
Boreatton usually enter 2 teams and we would like to do the same next year. Teams can have a leader walking with them if they would like but can also be independent (if they have the relevant skills).
We will run various training walks prior to the event to make sure all Scouts are capable of completing it.
If your Scout is interested in taking part next year (and is 12 or over by 29th August 2023), please put their name down on this form. This is not a definitive yes, but we just need an idea of numbers.
There are 2 ways of entering - the training walk and full expedition. Training is where the Scouts will just carry a day pack and expedition is where Scouts will carry a full pack (3 days of food, tents, stoves etc...). We have not decided if we will enter a full expedition team, but it is possible if enough Scouts are interested and capable.
