It's bivvy building night on Friday 27th May

This Friday we will be at the woods again, working towards the Survival Skills badge which we will finish off in the summer with an overnight survival camp.  You will learn how to make a bivouac to sleep in, dry and warm.  Don't worry if you've got the badge already, you'll have a brilliant time as well.

PLEASE NOTE - 7.00PM STARTING TIME, FINISHING AT 9.30 AND PLEASE BRING A DRINK.

We thought we would have a longer session this week as we ran over time last week (sorry parents!).

Please bring a pair of LEATHER palmed gloves (plastic and rubber melt!), a head torch and wear a strong pair of boots or wellies.  Dress in old clothes as we will be having a camp fire - uniform not required, but please dress appropriately for the weather,

Directions to Bentleys Marsh Coppice; Follow the road  to Wykey from Ruyton XI Towns, past Packwood Haugh school, through Wykey and after a kilometre take the first turn right.
