Boreatton Scouts invade London..............

For the first time in a few years Boreatton Scouts will head off to invade London for a camp of culture, excitement and amazement and to see how those strange London folk live. We will leave from PGL in the morming of Wednesday 20th of April and return late afternoon on Saturday 23rd. The planned itinerary includes (subject to final confirmation) a ride on the London Eye, a boat trip along the Thames, a visit to the worlds finest toy shop Hamleys, a museum visit and a visit to the Houses of Parliament. We will be staying at the South London Scout Centre (known as the Fort) in proper beds which makes a change for us and will travel there and back in a Scouts minibus.
There will be 4 Leaders - Steve, Ben, Dawn or Neil and Leader in Charge will be Phil so we will have a strong ratio of adults to Scouts. All activities, travelling and accomodation will be fully risk assessed and we will require a clear lateral flow test on the morning of departure. Adventure is our aim but our overall priority is always safety.
We always strive to make all camps as affordable as possible and the cost for this one will be £150 (to include everything apart from pocket money), payable either in one lump sum on Friday 4th March, or by three payments of £50 - Friday 4th February, Friday 4th March and Friday 1st April. As always, if you have any issues with affordability please talk to me. If you need any further information or have any questions please either email phil_atkinson@live.co.uk, call me on 07733 189916 or talk in person at Scouts. The Eventbrite booking form below is valid for 2 weeks to give you a chance to have a chat about the camp.
