I would like to update everyone about returning to face-to-face Scouting. The Scout Association is, quite rightly, very concerned that our young people and adults are protected as much as possible at meetings so as a Group we have returned 2 very comprehensive risk assessments which now have to be approved at a higher level.
Once we have approval we can start Scouting again, although in a changed form to what you have been used to. Amongst other things, we will require pre-booking to attend a meeting to allow the Leader in Charge to allocate children to bubbles for the activity.
Don't worry, closer to the time I will let you know exactly what needs to be done.
On a positive note we are now allowed to meet indoors (again, subject to conditions), the Rule of 6 not applying to our meetings.
So in summary, we can't meet yet but wil be able to soon. Your Leaders and Helpers have some fantastic activities planned and look forward to welcoming everyone back as soon as they can.
Phil.
