This Friday 11th October is our first night hike of the season. Simply love 'em, the darkness, the eerie noises, getting lost, the relief of not getting lost, the snacks and the chat....
We meet at The Hut at 7.30pm to hike to Baschurch and
finish at around 10pm
at the cenotaph in All Saints Church yard, Baschurch - Church Road, SY4 2GD
The hike should take around 2 1/2 hours with a few tests and challenges along the way.......??
Please bring the following kit with snacks to share.......
Head torch, good fitting walking boots, waterproof coat and trousers, fleece top, base layer, trousers/tracksuit bottoms [not jeans], warm hat, water bottle, snacks, personal first aid kit, whistle, spare socks and a comfortable rucksac to carry your stuff in.
This hike will count towards a Hikes Away level as will the SBSMG Snowdon trek on this Sunday 13th October [any Scout over 12 is eligible - see blog post]
