Boreatton supports Wales Air Ambulance!

Last Friday the Troop was honoured with a bespoke hangar tour of the Wales Air Ambulance HQ at Welshpool. We were made to feel very welcome and in turn have agreed to help raise some funds for this vital and worthy rescue service. A number of the Troop were given collecting boxes which they have pledged to use to collect donations to support the charity. Each call out costs around £1500 and each of the helicopters in their fleet is millions of pounds worth of hi-tech flying kit. If we can do a little to help we may even save a life.

If you have  collection box [ or raise money in another way, ensure you have your parents permission] please do what you can to collect donations and then bring them to the 'In the Woods' session on Sunday 27th October and hand over to a leader who will forward them to the Wales Air Ambulance team.

For every Scout who attended the Hangar Tour and raises some money for the charity will be eligible for the Fundraiser Badge
Thank you!
