For those in peril on the sea!

Little did Grace Darling know when she and her father rowed out through the storm to save the crew of the stricken SS Forfarshire wrecked on the rocky coats of the Farne Islands that she would inspire many to follow in her selfless footsteps. In a few years the Royal National Lifeboat Institution was born. Since that time countless sea going souls have been saved. This Friday we will find out more about the RNLI and have a go at some of the rescue techniques they use everyday to keep our seas safe.

Please wear your full Uniform, bring a coat and a torch. If you wish to help the RNLI please bring along a donation. The RNLI is a voluntary organisation and relies on the general public to support its work.
