To finish our summer term we are heading to Whitemere lake near Ellesmere for a spot of sailing and a BBQ. Parents are very welocme to join us for a bite to eat to celebrate all the achievements of the brilliant Boreatton Scouts!! Last week all 13 attending Scouts added to their Time on Water Staged badge and those Scouts who attended this second kayaking session achieved their Paddlesport level 3. This Friday we have badges for pretty much all Scouts and aim to invest our newby Scouts.
If you have not been invested yet please get your Scout shirt [£20] which you can order here - https://shop.scouts.org.uk/uniforms/scouts . We will provide your first set of badges and Boreatton necker.
To book your place in the boats you will need to use the Eventbrite booking link below, please print off and complete the Permission Form, just print off this whole page. As we have the lovely people at Shropshire Sailing Club as our coaches for the evening we need this extra bit of paperwork.

Please get to the Shropshire at Whitemere near Ellesmere by 6pm for a prompt start to the session by 6.15pm. We aim to pack away by 8.30pm, EAT bangers & burgers and then head off for the summer break by 9ish.

Kit List
Please wear your uniform shirt and necker to and from the session, thanks. Bring suitable watersport clothing for on the water, no jeans, t-shirt, shorts, wetsuit, hat to keep off the sun and sandals or wetsuit/aqua shoes, [no best trainers as these will get wet and wrecked!] and finally a towel. Lifejackets will be provided.
The cost of sailing session is £10 [Cash or Cheques payable to 'Boreatton Scout Troop'. thanks] Thank you.
