Canoes & Kayaks! Session 2 UPDATE!


The sun did it's best last week and so did Boreatton Scouts with every Scout attending achieving their Level 1 and Level 2 Paddle Sport badge if they had not got them already a and all Scouts adding to their Time on Water badge. We have places left for this Fridays session, you  will need to use the Eventbrite booking link below, please print off and complete the Permission Form, just print off this whole page. As we have the lovely people at Shropshire Paddlesport as our coaches for the evening we need this extra bit of paperwork. 

Please note someone last week went home with a wetsuit with red trim which was not theirs, can you please return it this week and we will give you the wetsuit with blue trim in return!!??

Please get to the Shropshire Paddlesport Clubhouse on the Montgomery Canal by Queens Head by 6.15pm for a prompt start to the session by 6.30pm. Please wear your uniform shirt and necker to and from the session, thanks. Bring suitable watersport clothing for on the water, no jeans, t-shirt, shorts, hat to keep off the sun and sandals or wetsuit shoes, and finally a towel.  

The cost of a single session is £10 or £20 for both [Cash or Cheques payable to 'Boreatton Scout Troop'. thanks] Thank you for those who have paid already, much appreciated.

Wear/ bring:




Scout shirt and necker, fleece, waterproof coat.  No Jeans, tracksuit/shorts, t-shirt. Complete change of clothes/underwear & socks,  towel, spare shoes. Hand in any medication. Rucsack to carry it all in!!
Permission form, no form , no Paddlesport!

No electronic devices as these may get broken or lost
