Summertime here we come!!
Our summer programme starts on Friday 10th May back at Bentleys Marsh Coppice 7.30pm to 9pm [Please note we stay away from PGL for the summer term as they get very busy and things get crazy at the gateway!!].
As we are outside for all of the summer sessions you will need to bring to each session a basic kit of uniform shirt with necker, tough outdoor trousers, strong boots/shoes, waterproof coat, hat, layers to keep you warm, all in a rucksack containing a drink and food to share with your Patrol members or for cooking on your camp fire, you will also need a plate, knife, fork, spoon and mug, personal first aid kit and something to sit on like a camp mat or folding stool. For the other sessions such as climbing, canoeing and sailing, please as ever check the blog for the special instructions.
For all the sessions at Bentley Marsh Coppice we will teach you how to use a bushcraft knife which we supply or you can bring your own locking/fixed blade knife which must be handed in to a Leader on arrival, thank you. No penknives.

Follow the road to Wykey from Ruyton XI Towns, past Packwood Haugh school, through Wykey and after a kilometre take the first turn right. Continue down this straight lane and Bentleys Marsh Coppice is on the right, look out for the sign. There is only a small pull in to drop-off in so a rapid turn around please, thank you.
