Drum Corps Special & Wide Game - Friday 9th November




Boreatton Scout Group Drum Corps are joining us for the evening 
at The Hut 7.30pm to 9pm.

 This Friday 9th November we will practice ready for Sunday to ensure we demonstrate our fullest respect for this centenary event. 

Bring a torch and wear full uniform please, thanks. 

Please note when driving into PGL please stay off the grass, there is a passing space. We are getting regular complaints from the PGL management, please help us to keep our landlords happy, thank you. 


On Sunday 11th November - Remembrance Sunday -  We will be gathering to mark the 100 years since the ending of the horror that was the First World War. Each year Boreatton Scout Group join the community of Baschurch to remember the sacrifice of so many, from a multitude of nations, in conflicts across the globe.We would like all Scouts to make the fullest effort to attend please, thank you. [this and St George's Day are the most important dates in the Scout calendar]

You will need full uniform including necker and a poppy. Please sew on all those stray badges including the Poppy badge we issued recently and our Royal British Legion affiation badge. The RBL badge goes directly above the pocket and the Poppy badge goes above that. 

We will be meeting at Prescott Surgery at 9.50am, marching to All Saints Church in the village. After the service we will march back to Millington Close to finish at 12.20. Ensure you wear a thermal base layer under your Scout uniform to keep warm. Could parents please hang onto coats, thank you.
