Being a Scout means being out there in the wild and wide outdoors. The dark long nights now are a good time to practice those essential skills that make an adventurous life outdoors full of calculated risk with the secure knowledge that when nature throws us a curve ball we can get ourselves and our buddies safely home with a tale to tell. This Friday working in teams we will learn about what we can do when stuff goes wrong and how to do our best in the tightest spots.
You will need a torch, a personal first aid kit, bring one item you find indispensable in an emergency, an old outdoor coat, warm hat and your uniform with necker, thanks.
