Sailing Level 1 at Whitemere with Shropshire Sailing Club
Friday 8th June
From the woods to the mountains, from the rivers to the oceans, Scouts have adventured across the globe. This Friday build up your adventurers skills with a spot of sailing, Imagine for a moment how you too could be a Raleigh, Drake, Chichester, Benbow, Nelson or Cook following the wind across the uncharted seas!
We will be taking to calmer water at Whitemere near Ellesmere - please check the details below carefully, thanks:
Session Fee is £10 per Scout payable on arrival - cash or cheque please to 'Boreatton Scout Group' - thanks.

The club is just off the A528 at Spunhill:

Full set of dry clothes to change into after the session - spare kit to be in bag. Whilst afloat you will need shorts or light tracksuit troursers, suitable footwear - watersports shoes or old trainers, base-layer or t-shirt, light fleece, waterproof coat, sunscreen[ factor 30+] and a baseball/sunhat.
No electronic devices, mobiles etc please - as these will get lost in the lake, trust me I know about these things! If you wear glasses either use a spectacles tie like a Crokky or hand in to one of the leaders.
