The Friday 9th February we will be scaling the precipitous heights of Shropshire's legendary hill, The Wrekin, in the dark!!!! Ancient fortifications ring the top of this iconic hill, the capital of the Iron age Cateluvauni people but on a windswept night such as this 400 years of dominance came to an end! Roman legions had waded ashore in far away Kent and before long Shropshire's King Caradoc was on the run! We'll follow in the legionaries footsteps and trace the massive fortifications around the mini-mountain that is, The Wrekin!
