Its time for the county shooting championships again - on Sunday 11 February! Last year we won most of the medals and we'd like to keep it that way! This year the championships will be an all day event at the National Shooting Centre at Aldersley (where the National Scout Squad practice and will be an all day event with Masterclass coaching sessions from leading coaches in the morning and the competition on the national ranges in the afternoon. I'm coordinating the competition so need to bring along a good team from Boreatton. The entry fee is £7 (subsidised by the county to cover range fees, ammo and expert coaching). Top shooters will go on to represent the Shropshire at the Intercounty, and even the UK in international competition (we have had a couple of Boreatton scouts at the Junior International)
