Ever wanted to be a pirate? Found yourself 'ooh aahing' whenever you visit the seaside? Made y'self an eye-patch and imagined buried treasure on a lonesome island, venturing there with a rough looking crew across turbulent seas? Well if not, never mind you can still take to the high seas with Boreatton Scouts!
If you fancy joining the Boreatton Scout Magnificent Severn canoe crew for a grand day out on the river and an afternoon at the Shrewsbury River Festival on Sunday 10th September 2017 please register your interest below on the Eventbrite Booking form.
Final crew selection will be by drawing names out of a tricorn hat. If you are lucky enough to be selected you will receive joining details and permission form via email.
Deadline to join the selection list is 1st September.
Boreatton Scouts Magnificent Severn crew will be required to wear pirate costume on the day [that includes the Leaders!] and for those of you with craft skills we will need a pennant for each canoe of which we are trying to gather at least 10. Fabric, light cotton with a painted design will be best in case of rain. Here's an example below:
So get you name on the selection list, and maybe it's time to make that eye-patch and Skull crossed pennant?!
