So at the planning meeting last Friday we sorted out the menu and shopping list and the permission form below. We also learned that the Shropshire Wildlife Trust will donate £100 if we spend the second day studying the Meres and Mosses area. Day 2 is now planned with this in mind and Woodman Pete will copy the route and laminate it.
Given the apparent high risk of death, we also talked a bit about risks and I'll update the risk assessment accordingly. If you've got a fluorescent vest please wear it, alternatively ask me to buy you a cool fluorescent neckerchief for £4.50 I think.
Speaking of money, two of the team have agreed to go and buy the food but they will need the money before they go as neither of them has a credit card and they don't work in Aldi anyway!
You will need to pay the £10 fee by this Friday 9th May. If you haven't paid then assume you are not part of the expedition.
If you complete the challenge to the satisfaction of SWT then their donation will refund most of your camp fees.
You've got one weekend left to make sure your bike is all working properly, tyres blown up, chain oiled, gears and brakes working etc. 80km is a long way, if it breaks down you'll have to fix it by yourselves....
I'll be at Archery Camp this Friday so any questions that you can't answer yourselves will need to be asked of Woodman Pete or to me by e-mail, phone, facebook, snapchat, twitter, morse code or any other method that you get an answer by. If I don't answer maybe I didn't get the message, or death came early!

Get you parents to sign this, if they dare and bring a copy on the 16th May |
Is this a complete kit list? Maybe.... Check the one in 'useful forms' too |
