You may know we have a rolling programme to gain our forester badge, winter is tree cutting and coppicing, summer is tree identification. You have to do both parts to gain the badge.
This is the winter part and we only have 10 spaces, five of which are initially reserved for those who did part two in the summer.
We'll provide safety gear, tools, food etc.

The day will begin at 10am with a Land Rover trip from West Felton to the nature reserve in Nantmawr, then we'll work on the badge till lunch when we'll light a campfire and cook spuds and stuff. After lunch we'll do a bit more work and be back at West Felton by 4pm.
You'll need working clothes, to get muddy, brambled etc. walking boots, or wellies, (it's steep and muddy), waterproofs or suncream as appropriate!!!We'll provide safety gear, tools, food etc.
