Danger UXB

UPDATED

Friday 6th December will be a night incident hike.
A wartime bomb (fake) has been discovered on the Oswestry Hill Fort. It is our job to find and disarm it. It could well be filled with sweets! To complete this task, and only one patrol can, you'll need the special equipment listed on the kit list. It's a race against time. Don't forget it will be cold, wet and slippery etc.
You will need to stay focussed, and meticulous in your search. Remember don't run towards a bomb, you may need all your energy to run away when it starts ticking!

The hike will start at the usual time 20-00 hours, in the car park located at SJ291304
We aim to finish at the same place at 21-30 hours. A hot drink will await any survivors.
Patrol Leaders and APL's ensure your patrol is carrying the specialist equipment.
If you can't find a map or have forgotten grid references, type the number in bold into this website http://www.streetmap.co.uk

Please complete the activity form if you hadn't filled in the survey monkey questionnaire... before the end November. Still do it though please. If you have done the  questionnaire  I have your details.
