We did this camp in September last year and it proved to be such a success that we will do it again! Bickley Coppice is a local Scout owned campsite that is beautiful, wooded and basic (only portapottys - no toilet blocks!). This camp is mainly run for the oldest Scouts to finish working towards their Chief Scouts Gold Award and so is all about backwoods camping - cooking on wood fires, using axes and saws, carving with knives and all the traditional Scout activities that we tend not to do often now.
ALL Scouts are welcome but if you have any concerns about whether you would be suitable please give Phil a call on 07733 189916. This is one of the most laid back camps that we do as we all spend a lot of time cooking, collecting firewood and swinging in hammocks (please feel free to bring one along) and is a great way to forget that school starts a few days after!!!
