5...4...3...2...1... Shelterbox is GO

It was February 2011 when we last raised funds for Shelterbox, with our box immediately going to help the people of Japan after the Tsunami. You can read about it here:-

In the two and a half years since, there have been a few more natural and man made disasters but I hadn't realised quite how many. To put it in perspective, Shelterbox have, and still are in some cases, helped in all these areas since we last raised money for them:-

We need to raise £590 to buy our own box, so if  we can all raise a minimum of £25 we should just about do it.
We'll be sleeping overnight on Friday 17th May in cardboard boxes and collecting sponsorship. More details to follow. Meanwhile here's the sponsor form, so get round you friends and neighbours and start searching out large cardboard boxes, or small ones and lots of tape!
(Officially Big Shelterbox Week begins on the 1st June, so we a jumping the gun a bit)
