Swim like a swimmy thing

I told you to put this one in your diary!!!  The District Swimming Gala is on Saturday the 17th November at the Quarry Pool, Shrewsbury.  Meet in the foyer at about 5.30 and racing starts at 6.00.  Everyone who would like to swim can enter a race and there will be a splash around (time permitting) after the competition.  We hope to finish at 9.00.

For the last few years Boreatton has stuffed all the other competitors, BUT, this year the stakes have been raised as there are now 5 other Troops taking part so we need to be there en masse to make sure we don't disgrace ourselves (Pete would have to eat Rogers hat if we came last - it's an old Scout tradition!).  So.....get your best cozzy or Budgie Smugglers out and come along.
