27.9 SECONDS..........................

is a very short period of time and is also the time that Takuo Toda managed to persuade his paper glider to stay in the air to win the world record,  Always up for a challenge, this Friday Boreatton Scout Troop will win glory and fame (once again) by shattering the world record (possibly).

We might struggle to beat the distance world record of 226 feet 10 inches as the Sports Barn isn't that long or drop one from a bolloon at 23 miles high as the Germans did (although Alan........), so we will be building all sorts of sizes and types of planes , attempt a world record, win some prizes (if Phil hasn't eaten them all first) and generaly continue our aeronautical theme.

If you want to practice before hand a good website for designs is www.funpaperairplanes.com
