Because we didn't manage to fit a camp in this summer we thought that, as well as the Kibblestone Camp, you might like to have another camp while the weather is warm.
Some of you have been to Bickley Coppice before - it is a beautiful wooded site but very basic and we are having a traditional Scout Camp, with traditional camp fire, traditional open fire cooking, making traditional twist and carving a useful traditional thing. It is also for our Chief Scouts Gold Award scouts to finish off their Challenge badges and receive their award hooray!!! The camp will be between Friday 21st and Sunday 23rd of September.
The camp is probably more suited to older Scouts as we are using knives, chopping wood and so on but if you are not sure if you would be suitable please give Phil a call on 01939 260391. Please let me have the permission form and £10 (what a bargain!) when we have our first meeting on Friday 14th September, and don't forget to book for Kibblestone as well!
