St Georges Day Parade

....THIS SUNDAY....

St George is the Patron Saint of the worldwide family of Scouts. You made a promise to be loyal and to do your duty so this is one of only two occasions when we ask you to put your commitments to scouts first.

We will meet up at the entrance to Shrewsbury castle at 13-00 on Sunday 22nd April and be dismissed from the Market Square at 15-10.
Please make sure you wear full uniform, clean and ironed, blue scout or grey black school trousers or skirts (as appropriate) and black school type shoes. We will be inspected by the Lord Lieutenant of Shropshire. If it's cold put a plain tee shirt underneath, we will only be allowed coats under instruction of the parade marshal.
For the first time there will also be a camp fire and songs and the town crier will be opening the procedure.

Scouts is back Next Friday 27th April but the robot & scout car teams and drum corps will all meet this week.
