Woo hoo! We won lots of stuff at the Scalextric4Schools competition! and beat loads of schools!
The team came second in the UK finals and won lots of Glory! (oh and lots of scalextric gear too which curiously seemed more to the scouts liking!) Well done to the team! Second in the UK finals is pretty impressive - and on your first attempt...! Another one for the CV... We will celebrate by racing our prize cars on the Lewis Hamilton track at my place on Weds 29 June at 7pm-8:30pm, hand out certificates, eat chocolate, and plan our next techno-geek project!
We were actually fastest round the track we reckon after sneeking a look at the lap times, but the overall winner had done lots of virtual testing using the PTC software (but they had an advantage of leaders who knew how the software worked and what they were supposed to be doing!)
