Well done!!

I did post a brief comment that the Robotics team had had a great day at the Bioengineering Research Symposium at Oswestry but thought I ought to post a few pics of the team with their poster just before the poster session

and discussing their work with other bioengineers, and also,

being presented with a poster prize - well done!!!

That wraps up our Lego Robotics competition for 2010 very nicely - an all round performance prize at Manchester Uni, Crest Silver awards, a first research publication and an academic prize! Very satisfactory!!!

The only outstanding issues are planning next years entry and team (I think enough hands went up to go for it again!) and getting rid of the prize money! I propose that we spend it all on something frivalous and fun as is traditional with academic prizes... I was told that Kung Foo Panda 2 was going to be on at the OMH on the 28th but they forgot to say that it was 28 July! That's ages off! We'll have to choose one sooner.... the trip will be for all the authors of our poster, so if that's you, why not post a comment with suggestions for a good film that is 12A/PG/U?
