Hey!
Although my next meeting is about 3 weeks away (19th - 20th Nov. ) it's going to be a sponsored event so everyone should start trying to get sponsors. We'll be doing a sponsored camp in a box to raise money for the “shelterbox” charity (http://www.shelterbox.org/ ). This charity ask for money to buy a large box which contains all the necessary equipment for a group of 10 people to survive, these boxes are then sent out to disaster areas where they're needed most. Each individual box is also numbered so that the people who bought them can see where they were sent and sometimes get a picture of the people who recieved it.to be successful we need everyone to try and raise £20 each which isn't too much considering it could change someone's life.
while we're livin in a box - we need to survive (proper food = CHOCOLATE!!! :D) and you get a badge if you raise the money!!!
