Competing for England at the European Championships

(...and Wales)

We may not have won international trophies, but we did well in all parts of the competition, and did better than we ever have in the robot design and performance game. We had to overcome problems with the lights and the table spec, and the first two rounds of the robot game went badly, but we sorted out the problems one at a time and BERT3Ee finally performed as we designed him to in the last round (hurrah!). It is always a lot of fun in these competitions when you have worked hard and know you are doing well and measuring yourself against the best (in the world!). It was also pretty obvious that we achieved what we did with quite a lot less resources than everyone else who all seemed to have lots of NXT blocks and all had sponsor's logos around their stands... So well done to everyone, and Bert3ee and froggy too!
