Swim Swim

So we've all remembered the sponsored swim on Friday, Yes....
We hope you can all get at least £15 then we should be able to double our money. Actually - the cubs have done loads to make this happen so its the least we can do to show our appreciation of Jim and team's hard work! If you have not downloaded and filled up your sponsor form do it now!

There is still time to pester parents and rellies, friends and neighbours!
Meet at 7-00pm 26 March at the PGL pool. It's just past the main house, on the right as you head for the sports barn we've been meeting at (actually the cubs are meeting at 6:15 so it will be the noisy building!). Bring your form and £s! There is also a fundraising cake/refreshment stall being run by cubs so bring a cake/buy a cake - its all in a good cause (us!).

The elite swimmers who won the district swimming gala a few weeks back are now set to compete in the Shropshire County Gala. Meet at 5.45pm at the Quarry pool on Saturday 27th March. It should be finished by 9pm.
I've phoned all those in the team, if you need transport talk to me on Friday.
Please come in full uniform, we are the pride of Shropshire Borders! Drums, Flags, Bugles etc are all welcome.

Mark Spitz wins his seventh swimming gold medal at the 1972 Summer Olympics in Munich, Germany, becoming the first Olympian to do so. Spitz set world records in all seven events in which he swam.
He's 61 years old now so we need to win a few of his medals. We are out to win but we'll be happy if we do our best.
