We had a great time in our half troops the last couple of weeks - I've got some good photos in the cave and also from underwater (inside a plastic bag) - the camera survived!!
This week, on 12 March, we all get back together to practice surviving (always a good skill!)
We will build emergency shelters and cook emergency food in our emergency woods (whilst our PGL base gets reinstated over the next month or so) so we will be going to Bickley Coppice (a scout owned woods we can use)
It's in the middle of nowhere and the road up to it is quite Mongolian so it's probably best to meet somewhere accessible to normal cars - we will meet outside Bicton Church at 8:00 and aim to be back at soon after 9:30. I'll ferry scouts in the Landy... It may be a bit drizzley but thats OK, it just hits our survival chances a tad, and it will certainly be dark so bring a headtorch/torch/light source!
Here's a map!
