Those with cub siblings will be up to date with our attempts to get ourselves a home before we have to leave the temp accomodation PGL have given us - they need to start using it in a few weeks!
It looks like we will be able to raise enough money to get the prefab hut we have been given onto site and PGL have confirmed that they will lease us the land for a nominal rent, provide facilities and help with groundworks!!! (Tell all your neighbours what nice people PGL are!)
BUT this does rely on us actually raising the money we think we will from the group sponsored swim! We are spending that money now in anticipation of your support as we need to get the hut in place before a) we end up homeless and cannot run our programme and b) the hut deteriorates as it is currently not fully weather tight... So - the sponsored swim with joint teams of scouts, cubs and beavers will be held at PGL on 26 March - get sponsoring now and lets make this a success, and a lot of fun (after all we are the district swimming champions (for at least another week!))
