SOS!

Save our Scout troop!
Our hut is no more and we NEED to get some funds to get the new (ish) one we've been given (Woo hoo! Well done cubs!!!) to PGL so we can carry on doing all the stuff we do in puggletown!
There is a LJC (Local Joint Committee) meeting in Baschurch Village Hall on MONDAY 11-1-10 at 7:00pm - these are the guys who decide who gets local grants and they want to see whether we are worth supporting so I would like EVERYONE to make an effort and turn up with uniform (or at least a necker so they can see you are a scout) and tell them that we're the best! It shouldn't be too long - I will be talking up what we do and how we get involved with the community and the cubs and beavers will be there too so they won't be able to ignore us!
I did a flyer to hand out to show people what we do... Maybe we should do this on a t-shirt for a bit of publicity? fundraising? this is just the last 4 years...
