Last meeting we tried out various Christmassy crafty things - and made some throwies too as we had the bits to hand.
Leds are fun things to add in to any crafty stuff to light it up! They're cheap from Maplins and will run off a 3v disc battery (you're supplosed to wire them in with resistors etc but hey it works fine with just a 3v CR2032 disc batt!).
You can throw them at things if they're on a magnet (although the ceiling of PGL sports barn has a limited audience...), add them in to the Xmas wreaths you made (to make a homing beacon for Rudolf!), or use them in the techie Petg Led Tif Cards
If your card is a bit faint, its because:
a) your Led is not pointed at the edge of the piece of petg plastic;
b) (most likely) you havn't made the push-pin hole deep enough - if you push the pin half way through the plastic, only half the light will be able to get out... (try pushing bigger holes!);
or
c) the battery has run out!
