Volcano

After the reception we climbed a Volcano d'Auvergne.

Cool crater!

"Yes you are very strong, but I know that rock is mostly air!"

After Puy Pariou, the group split and whilst Peter got lost walking along the path to the Minibus, the hardier scouts made the ascent of Puy de Dome

... and this is the view of Mont Blanc (!) (OK I have some quite imaginative scouts, but on a less hazy day...)

And finally, at the end of a long day, an eerie calm descends on the camp site - yes it's time to do the washing up and cooking!
