Its the end of term - time to get everything sorted out...
We had the last of this term's regular Sunday practice sessions for next term's air rifle squads who will be off to NSARC2k9 to compete for one of the oldest scouting awards -
the Duke of Connaught's shield for rifle shooting, presented by HRH The Duke of Connaught K.G. for the "Annual Competition in Rifle Shooting by Troops of Boy Scouts (Baden Powell's)" since 1911.

...getting better - we'll hold the competition and exams for NSRA awards and squad places on one of our Sunday sessions early next term.
We also took the opportunity to (finally) formally induct one of the (nearly) new scouts into the troop! Not in front of the whole troop but with an honour guard armed with rifles... (good job he got the promise right!)
