Shift time fire fusion

Inspired by the Darwin centenary celebration's 'shift time' festival strandbeests and vaugue memories of nordic fire festivals featuring fire-art installations.

I thought it would be a good time to blend our own artistic talents with an offering to the fire gods for a long hot summer and invoke the return of the sun spots (which are late).

We meet at Leaton Hall this friday at the usual time (although I will start work early to prepare the skeleton so feel free to come along any time from 7:00). Please bring a few old bamboo canes and string to add to our structure and rags and banners to adorn the offering!
