I could not be at the last troop night, but was very disturbed to hear that a gang of scouts had picked on one scout (who may have been being a bit annoying) and used snowball fights as a pretext bullying him to the point where he ran away from the hut in distress.
This is not acceptable behaviour for anyone staying in the troop. I have heard who was involved and you may think that you were just having a laugh, but when it is a group of scouts pushing one scout around and thowing snowballs right in his face, pushing him over, when he is just trying to get away from you - it turns into bullying.
You should be ashamed of yourselves and if I see such behaviour I will excude you.
Parents - please have a chat with your scouts about when having a laugh turns into something unacceptable....
