I knew the search for snow wouldn't be too difficult last w/e!
It was a spectacular day on top of Y Garn and the Glyders, and a great days climbing, with super speedy glissading at the end (quicker down than up!)
There were however quite dangerous conditions in the mountains and we are lucky to have a big team of very experienced mountain leaders to make sure we have an adventurous but safe day in the hills. It is essential to have the right equipment and fitness for days like this. Whilst we are getting better, two scouts needed to borrow gloves on the day - you can arrange to borrow gear if you need, but need to let Richard know in advance! You need to arrive with ALL the equipment on the kit list! It would not be possible to stay safe without good waterproof gloves on a day like last Sunday....
