We had a great time yesterday in Bickley Coppice (owned by the scouts so we can go and play there any time!) It's the first time I've been there and is a great base for 'our' explorer unit.
I'd have taken some pics of the game in progress, but the idea of manhunt is you have to hunt for them (obviously) so not very photogenic except in brief bursts... Anyway, at the end we had hot dogs and played with fire so here's a couple of pics from then when we were chilling out!
Richard (the explorer leader - familiar to all those that come on the SSGMG events) introduced his unit to the older scouts and those scouts moving up to year 9 or older have been invited to join. Its good to have somewhere to move on too at last, but I'll lose all those scouts I've known for a few years! sob!
