I may not have updated the programme yet - too many people to confirm with to fix anything definate... but our next troop meeting will be at the hut on friday when we won't be swimming as that had been planned for elsewhere, but the drum corps have been arranged to give the cubs a demo at PGL...
Bertie 'Bot progresses and the Ro-boreatteers will be bringing their thoughts on the 'Energy Efficiency Project' tomorrow, and we'll find out what the plan is for the demo to cubs at the drum corps meeting on Thursday.
Meanwhile, any latent astronomers thinking of getting back up to speed on the Astronomy Badge might be interested in a look at Comet Holmes - it looks best through binoculars through which it presents a spectacular (ableit tailless) sight... here's a pic of where to look - its in Perseus which is below the W of Casseopia in the NE, late evening
When you see it it is very obvious and cannot be mistaken for anything else! It may end up very bright indeed before its passed! I've also added a couple of my pics taken through my homemade camera showing some nice internal structure.
