Hmm - I've been a bit busy and fried the coputer again and... at least last time the computer went for a shower I forced myself to not switch it on for three days whilst I roasted it on the aga (so it wasn't fried after all!)
Anyway - end of term is here - what did we do since last post? Mostly continued getting wet to be honest but hey, what harm does that do...
We did the rock climbing at Pandy with SSGMG - Here's Matt going up!
The view is not as sunny as last year so here's one of us climbing last year...
After that we went geocaching (in the rain) which was good fun - all the scouts claimed to know how to use the gps's and to be able to read maps and then ran off at great speed in pretty random directions (despite training session the week before!) Job well done, and only just in time as it was starting (?!) to get dark.
Finally, we ended term with a bbq at my place for scouts and family and burned a few more sausies - it even stopped raining for a few hours Hurrah!
So have a good summer - we are getting a bit of sunshine at last now. During the hols the Drum Corps are continuing - they had a trip to laserquest and bowling last week for a break (and I only came 3rd - I'm slipping!!!)
A couple of us are at the Jamboree this week, and next week the drum corps are invited to the Copthorne Barracks by the Coldstream Guards to see how it should be done... so perhaps its not the last post of the year (hur hur!)
